July Highlights
July brought so many exciting activities.
Our July 4th Event at the Peoria Sports Complex was a wonderful success. We had the opportunity to meet and minister to so many people. Our booth drew many visitors especially the children who came to hear the Shofar sounded. We had folks sign up for the newsletter and some have already visited our congregation to worship with us.
We were blessed to welcome Moran Rosenblit to the Tabernacle of the Son. Moran is the founder and executive director of Hope for Israel and he sharee with us about their activities with the youth in Israel. Many of our congregants also attended the local TBN taping where Moran was a guest for a Praise the Lord program.
Pastor Allan was another of the guests at the local TBN studio. He had the blessing to be able to share about messianic judaisma to the Phoenix area viewing audience.
July was the debut month for Daughters of the King our women's ministry. The first event was PMS - Pizza, movie on a Sunday and was well attended. We watched the thought provoking film "Time Changers" and had a wonderful time of worship and fellowship.
Also this month our Facebook page was created and within the first two weeks, we received over 100 friend reqeusts. Our facebook page is a place for sharing scriptures and words of life and encouragement.
AMC was an intregral part of the wonderful worship event featureing International Messianic recording artist Paul Wilbur. The event was coordinated by Yeshua haMashiach Messianic Congregation and several of the local congregations contributed to the success of the evening. Our mishpochah served as greeters, ushers, sound & powepoint technicians and dance leaders. It was a night of worship and ministry that won't soon be forgotten. We are looking forward to welcoming Paul Wilbur and his keyboard accompanist Greg Shumake back to the Valley of the Son.
Our Pastors have attended meetings with leaders of the other Messianic Congregations in the area and are working on several corporate events to minister to the entire Valley as well as local activities. This is such a great opportunity to minister the Love of Yeshua and share the understanding of who He is and all we can do through Him. The next big event will be Sukkoth in the Park in September.
